New name, same mission.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Global SolutionsSM.

Yes! We’ve changed our name from GeoBlue® to Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions. Why? It’s a better fit for who we are and how we provide international health insurance coverage.

For over 25 years, we’ve provided trusted international health insurance. And that isn’t changing. It’s the same reliable team and products you know. It’s the same extensive global network and industry-leading digital tools. It’s still everything your members need to say “yes” to the journey. 

But with a new name and a fresh look. And a new, streamlined website that reflects our goal to make international healthcare easier by delivering a seamless experience. 

Around here, we’ve never been afraid of a little change. It’s how we keep innovating and giving you solutions that keep up with how your members travel, study, live and work abroad.

Our brand change is happening over the next 18 months. You and your members will still see the GeoBlue name on some things. Don’t worry or think you have outdated information. We’re taking the time to get it right. Check out what this means for you and your members.

How this impacts your members

What you need to know

Our new brand doesn’t change how you’re used to working with us. But some things will look a little different (and better!). Here’s where you and your members will see changes.

Admin portal for organizations

Our administrator portal for organizations with our group business travel and/or expat plans will move to our new domain and be updated to reflect our new brand in November. Once the portal is moved, the previous website address will automatically redirect you to the new address. Please update bookmarks to the new address. Log in to the portal.

Admin portal for schools

We’ll update the administrator portal for schools with our group study abroad plans (either U.S. outbound or U.S. inbound) in the first half of 2026. The current portal will still show our former name. The website address will also stay the same for now. We’ll share more information about the launch of the updated portal as the date nears.

Processes

Processes related to managing your plan, renewals and payments have not changed. You may see our new brand reflected in payments you receive from us.

Proposals

You’ll see our new brand reflected in sales and renewal proposals on a rolling basis as we implement the new brand throughout 2025 and 2026.

Phone numbers

The phone number(s) members use to contact our 24/7/365 Global Service Center will stay the same. Our service agents will answer as BCBS Global Solutions.

Mailing addresses

No change here! Our mailing addresses will remain the same. But please use our new name, BCBS Global Solutions, instead of GeoBlue.

Email addresses

Our email addresses will change to the domain @bcbsglobalsolutions.com. We encourage you to update any email addresses you have saved for us and to add our new domain to your safe senders list. In some cases, you may need to ask your company’s IT department to whitelist our domain if you use a company-issued email address. But no worries if you email us at the older @geo-blue.com address. It will automatically redirect to us.

Social media

Our social media profiles have been updated to reflect our new brand. You’ll see our new handle is @BCBSGlobalSolutions. Make sure you’re following us!

Website

We’ve launched a new website at bcbsglobalsolutions.com. This is where members can log in to the Member Portal. Note that the portal itself hasn’t changed. Links to our old website will automatically redirect to the new site.

Mobile app

We’ve updated the mobile app so it looks like our new brand. But the content and features haven’t changed. If members already have the app and have automatic updates, they’ll already see the change. Otherwise, they’ll see it when they manually update the app.

Product names

We’ve simplified our product names. The new names should make it easier for you to find and choose the right product for your members’ needs.

Experience

Our rebrand helps us give you and your members an even better experience. And it helps us meet our goal of making international healthcare easier. At the end of the day, it’s about giving your people seamless access to care. So they feel protected, supported and confident when they go abroad.
