New name, same coverage.

Yes! We’ve changed our name from GeoBlue to Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions. Why? It’s a better fit for who we are and how we provide international health insurance coverage.

For over 25 years, we’ve provided trusted international health insurance. And that isn’t changing. It’s the same reliable team and products you know. It’s the same extensive global network and industry-leading digital tools. It’s still everything you need to say “yes” to the journey.

But with a new name and a fresh look. And a new, streamlined website that reflects our goal to make international healthcare easier by delivering a seamless experience.

Around here, we’ve never been afraid of a little change. It’s how we keep innovating and giving you solutions that keep up with how you travel, live, study and work abroad.

One step at a time.

Our brand change is happening over the next 18 months. You’ll still see the GeoBlue name on some things. Don’t worry or think you have outdated information. We’re taking the time to get it right. Check out what's changing—and what isn't.

What you need to know.

Our new brand doesn’t change how you’re used to working with us. But some things will look a little different (and better!). Here’s where you’ll see changes.

Phone numbers 

The phone number(s) you use to contact our 24/7/365 Global Service Center will stay the same. Our service agents will answer as BCBS Global Solutions.

Mailing addresses

No change here! Our mailing addresses will remain the same. But please use our new name, BCBS Global Solutions, instead of GeoBlue.

Email addresses

Our email addresses will change to the domain @bcbsglobalsolutions.com. We encourage you to update any email addresses you have saved and to add our new domain to your safe senders list. In some cases, you may need to ask your company’s IT department to whitelist our domain if you use a company-issued email address with your plan. If you email us at the previous @geo-blue.com address, no worries! It will automatically redirect to us.

Social media

Our social media profiles have been updated to reflect our new brand. You’ll see our new handle is @BCBSGlobalSolutions. Make sure you’re following us!

Website 

We’ve launched a new website at bcbsglobalsolutions.com. This is where you can log in to the Member Portal. Note that the portal itself hasn’t changed. Links to our old website will automatically redirect to the new site.

Mobile app 

We’ve updated the mobile app so it looks like our new brand. But the content and features haven’t changed. If you already have the app and have automatic updates, you’ll already see the change. Otherwise, you’ll see it when you manually update the app.

Product names

We’ve simplified our product names. The new names should make it easier for you to find and choose the right product for your needs.

ID card

We’re updating ID cards with our new brand. You’ll receive a new card based on your purchase date or renewal date. Most digital ID cards will show the new brand. If your digital ID card doesn’t match your hard copy card for a little while, it’s OK. Providers are aware of the change and will service you under both brands.

GOP letters

Guarantee of Payment (GOP) and similar letters may show both GeoBlue and BCBS Global Solutions brands during the transition. This will help ensure minimal disruption for you and our providers.

Certificates of insurance

Certificates of insurance will show our new brand, product names and contact information.

Plan materials 

Plan documents, claim forms and materials about your plan will be updated on a rolling basis. Updates will be based on your plan purchase and renewal dates.

Claims process 

The processes to file claims and receive reimbursement are not changing. But you may see our new name on payments you receive from us.
