How to register on the Member Portal and mobile app.

If you have an active Blue Cross Blue Shield Global SolutionsSM plan, you can register for the Member Portal. Dependents and family members can register for their own accounts. 

Just follow these easy step-by-step instructions. You’ll have to verify your email address to complete your registration. After you register, you can use the same login for both the Member Portal and mobile app.

To register, click the Register for an Account link on the Member Portal login page or the mobile app. You’ll need to provide:

  • Your first and last name as it appears in your welcome email
  • Your email address
  • Certificate number or Group Access Code; your certificate number can be found on your ID card. It’s the number that contains 9 numeric digits. If you have a Group Access Code, it can be found in the member materials you received during enrollment.
  • Date of birth
  • Your chosen password. Your password must be at least 8 characters long, have at least one lower and one uppercase letter, have at least one number and one symbol.

Check your email to verify your account. Then log in and accept the terms and conditions to finish signing in.

Important tips

  • Be sure to use the same email address for both the Member Portal and mobile app.
  • For the mobile app, if you’re registering a dependent, enter both the subscriber’s and dependent’s policy numbers.

Getting an error message? We can help.

Double-check that you’re using the right email and password and look for any typos. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, just click “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password.”

Wait 30 minutes before trying to log in again. Or you may click “Unlock Account.” We will use added security features beyond your password to confirm your identity.

Your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Have at least one lowercase letter
  • Have at least one uppercase letter
  • Have at least one number
  • Have at least one symbol (!, @, #, $) 

Make any needed changes and try again.

The email you entered isn’t quite right. Make sure it includes an @ symbol and a dot (for example, name@example.com. Then, try again.

Log in using your email as your username. If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it.

The information you entered doesn’t match our records. This can happen if your first or last name, date of birth or certificate number doesn’t match what we have on file. Please refer to your welcome email for the information we have on file. Please check these details and try again.
