All plans include medical evacuation. Emergency medical transportation can be stressful and the costs can be devastating. We make it as easy as possible to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

Eligibility

Plans are available to United States residents, age 95 and younger and enrolled in a Primary Plan.* Children under age 6 must be enrolled with a parent. The initial purchase must be made in your home country prior to departing on your trip.

Eligible family members (if applicable) must be your spouse, civil union partner or domestic partner age 95 and younger, and/or your eligible child(ren) or other eligible dependent(s). Eligible family members must also be resident(s) of the United States and traveling outside the United States and scheduled to spend at least 24 hours away from his/her home.

An Eligible Dependent means a person who is the Eligible Participant’s:

  1. Spouse; civil union partner, or domestic partner;
  2. Natural child, stepchild or legally adopted child who has not yet reached age 26;
  3. Own or spouse’s, civil union partner’s or domestic partner’s own child, of any age, enrolled prior to age 26, who is incapable of self support due to continuing cognitive impairment or physical disability and who is chiefly dependent on the Eligible Participant. The Insurer requires written proof from a Physician of such disability and dependency within 31 days of the child’s 26th birthday and annually thereafter.

A person may not be an insured Dependent for more than one Insured Participant.

*Primary Plan is a Group Health Benefit Plan, an individual health benefit plan or a governmental health plan designed to be the first payer of claims (such as Medicare) for an Insured Person prior to the responsibility of this Plan. Such plans must have coverage limits in excess of $50,000 per incident or per year to be considered a Primary Plan. How to make a cancellation request

All cancellation requests must come from the primary insured by one of these methods:

With our single-trip plan, a trip can be as short as one day or as long as 182 days. The minimum charge is for 7 days. With our multi-trip plans, you'll be covered for an unlimited number of trips within 365 days. Multi-trip plans cover the first 70 days of each trip.

Staying abroad for longer than a year? We have long-term health plans with comprehensive coverage. These plans can be renewed every year as needed.
